Just finished my first Insanity workout
Just finished my first Insanity workout today, and I have to say it was one hell of a workout!
I've been doing P90x for a bit, but the cardio workout is on another level....
How about you basil? Anyone been trying the Insanity/P90x workout, or just any workouts in general?

@mardigros:
So I suppose P90x is more of a fat cutting machine type. I'mma just try to do the ol traditional way. Thanks though!
my roommate does it...he is fxcking ripped.
I religiously do a compound exercise every time I go to the gym on top of my isolation exercise... why didnt i do this earlier
I also started doing a bi-weekly dedicated shoulder workout and I've gotten so much bigger. I was hauling stuff around for my brother's wedding this weekend and the feeling of picking up a box that took two of his hockey bros to pick up made me feel so good

They switch it up, maybe for a couple weeks you'll be working on shoulders and back, maybe the next arms. It all depends on which schedule you follow, there are different types of workouts. Your diet also plays a major role on your progress as well. I've been doing the lean 90x schedule and I've lost about 55 lbs in a year. I'm not shredded yet, but I've been working out a lot of cardio, aka insanity now, to get defined.

As with any routine, you get out what you put in. It's not some sort of miracle workout, it just structures things for you so you don't have to.

I can't get motivated to do most cardio orientated regimes. If I can't do squats, deadlifts, cleans etc I just get bored.
I did insanity for about a month. I only stopped because I was starting conditioning for water polo. When I first started I was like, "okay this is truly insane" but after a week or two it was actually easy. It just seemed more like a chore than a workout once I started getting conditioned to it.
@LiliKoby: it was only for 1 grading period (6 weeks) and my weight stayed the same
no rips
cause i keep taking hell of a breaks
@alanliuis: Did you get ripped af like the commercial said? o-o (legitimate question)
I did insanity as pe at 10th grade
massive hell and actually got a B
I do Tai Gik like old Chinese people in the park lol does that count?
