General

I would say 1H + shield,

1. Shield can be anviled into all sorts of things, way more pleasing to the eye than a 2H imo
2. 1H has a faster attack speed, and although it doesn't make up for the higher damage multiplier of 2H, having a faster attack speed affords you time for mistakes (faster attack speed = lower character delay on attacks = you have a bigger window of time to avoid deadly attacks)
3. Fafnir 1 hand sword is WAAAY cheaper than a 2H (unless your server is Renegades and the economy is complete and utter crap), so getting a Fafnir 1H to 15 stars is relatively easier (though most of the meso will go towards actually starring it up, but it can make a sizable difference in the long run)

the 1h sword is scrolled with 5att scrolls and 10 stared and the 2h sword would be the same thing and im far from capping.

Seriously though, 1handed sword is 1.2x multipler and 2h sword is 1.35 i believe.
So I guess theoretically you could compare the two with total attack given.

Unless you're capping, a 2H would give you more damage generally so I'd probably suggest that. Of course, I don't know where you stand in terms of how good your own sword is though. Buying a good 2H also won't be that cheap...

depends how good your 1h is. 2h is very expensive, but also better. sure you COULD scroll a shield, and get 27atk, which will be slightly more atk than 2h and medal, BUT you miss out on the 2h weapon multiplier, which affects all attack you get. personally I'd go for 2h sword, even though they look ugly as hell

I mean... With the shield you can scroll it to have attack and enhance it as well... I don't know if there are any tradeable lvl 120-140 shields, but if there are, that's anywhere between 13-15 stars, which is great. But if not, then I guess 10 stars or whatever is fine too.

You already have the 1-handed weapon... might as well stick with it.

Remember to take in mind weapon multipliers when factoring the attack difference

2h swords OR AXES. HAHA.

This makes a big difference if you're poor. 2H axes are dirt cheap.

Also, 2H > 1H before cap.

Ryudes sword > 1H > 2H once capping.

2h is better but once you hit cap, 1h is better.

As far as everybody has told me,
2H swords are better for heroes than 1h. Not 100% sure the math/reasoning behind it.

Im not so good with these stuff but. Here are some things to consider.

2H swords are sronger than 1H.
1H is faster than 2H.

If 2H, your gonna get medal. If 1H, a shield.

Shields and medals are both potable. But only shields can be scrolled with attack.

So you gonna compare it. The attack your gonna get if you perfect a 2H vs attack on 1H and scrolled shield.

But for me, I would get 1H and a shield. Final choice is always your ^^ gl.
