@mark24: Even though I'm not a fan of the Shadower job myself, it does have a kit with a myriad of skills which provide a very different experience compared to playing a DB. And when things are different, you'll surely find some to like one option and some to prefer the alternative(s).

@jaytokyo: shadowers skills suck now too but mech lost both of their main abilities and got recycled replacements that arent nearly as impressive. Deleted my mech as soon as it got to 100... I dont see why anyone even plays shadower anymore, db is just a better looking/stronger version of shadower.

@carbyken its not an opinion its a fact that mechs got screwed over by the ability changes.(animations)

@chevorlet the new mech animations are much uglier and less pleasing to use than siege mode and mech laser.

they are probably just going to put siege mode and mech laser for 5th job, nexon is super lazy and loves to recycle abilities...

@mark24: how were the old skills any fun or have good animations lol? the two main skills you used (siege and laser) literally had you sit in 1 spot and hold down a button.
the laser had SOME wiggle room but it also had like a 1 second wind up time where you couldnt move but you had to spam it every second anyways

@chevorlet: they changed it so you could move and siege at the same time a long time ago

I like Mechs more now than I did back then, but I can sympathize with you on losing skills that you once found enjoyable.

@ackarred: new mech sucks, it does good damage but the animations are crap now and its not nearly as fun. super depressing. same with hero, except their damage sucks too.

@mark24: What Identity? The part where Mechs were design to be the heavy tankers with heavy artillery? Because from what I've seen, the identity is still there, if not more better represented with the defense buffs and newer skills than the original siege and some lazer.

@zcrimsyn: the removal of mech laser, seige mode, and interprid slash from 4th job werent slight adjustments. They completely changed the identity of the jobs affected. You dont come across as a very intelligent individual.

@carbyken what i said is closer to fact than opinion, raging blow looks horrible and mech laser and siege mode were the biggest reasons why mech players played the class in the first place.

@carbyken: He's what you call an extreme nostalgia freak. Those are the ones still stuck in pre-bb times and can't accept change. They think any slight adjustments whether it be a good change or bad change ruin the game.

@mark24: Well first off this is ENTIRELY your opinion, and that's fine. However the way you go about it sounds like you're holding tightly to the past.

youd rather have seige mode - literally a move where you auto attack and cant move or jump at all
or the laser which is so slow and does like 3 lines

im deleting my mech, the revamp is horrible, the new abilities look way worse than the old seige mode and laser. This game could have lasted like 25+ years if nexon wasnt the company running it, lol.

Siege Mode back for 5th job would be tha dream.

Only skills I really miss from Mechanic's older days are Flame Launcher and Satellite (I always liked having those three little droids hovering over my head).

Yeaaaaah, they were removed. :U Next time, check out a site that has an updated skill list like Ayumilove. You can see if a class still has the skills you like before choosing it. (Does this count as 'advertising another site'? I don't want to get in trouble. u___e )
