Help with Aran!

Hey Everyone,
I made a new aran for chaos (im not bandwagoning, I already have on but I lost interest so i restarted it). So i was wondering....
We have all the skills now. So do we still need to do the "hero with the lost memory quests"? and do i need to finish all of them to advance
to third job?
