Except stupidity doesn't mean that and cubing does yield different results each time.

I'm talking about how if you have an interest(videogames, anime/etc.) that isn't 'normal'(alcohol/parties/energy drinks/wubstep), you get insulted for it, I forget the word for it. I mean it doesn't phase me, I just hate their ignorance.

Stupidity evolved into a common insult.
I'm not sure, but I believe the quote is "insanity," not "stupidity."
I think the quote refers to actions that cannot logically produce any other result, such as refreshing at an old website that has been shut down and will not be reopened, or actions that have a very small percentage of producing some result, like the lottery.
Not that I think cubing is a particularly fulfilling way of spending time and money, but it's targeted by the original intention of the quote.
