Whenever Nexon experiences a bad patch, they pull out some exp multiplicator event as some compensation for their shortcomings. It's pretty sad that it's actually quite effective at mediating these conflicts within the Maplestory community. Seeing that most of the community is made up of kids who are fickle sycophants, they are willing to flock back to Nexon and its games for that crappy compensation. Nexon will never be inclined to progress and listen to its customers because we are willing to settle for 6x exp and put their bad record behind us.

OT: Sorry for your loss, that happens to people sometimes, but I don't see how making an apology, and trying to add another layer of security, compensate players for a typo, and provide gifts to them all for sticking it out with their admitted poor performance is BS. I don't normally support Nexon, but these threads get dumber and dumber.

They also offered compensation for the huge hacking incident after the MTS leak. The compensation was pretty decent... at least they're making an effort xP
