Hunting Peridots with alt. account that has 2x drop
If I hunt peridots on my main account that has a 1 day 2x drop coupon (Stupid cash shop surprise -_-), would the 2x drop effect from my main account would affect the peridot drop rate for my cyg? Like, if I killed a harp on my main account, would there still be a 2x more chance of finding a peridot for my cygnus? Or are quest item drop rate user-dependent meaning that because my cyg only has 1x drop, there would still 1x chance of finding a peridot.
*They would be both in the same party so I believe that if I kill a harp on my main, i would be able to see if a peridot has dropped on my cyg correct (on my cygnus's comp)?

Took me 14 hours to get 10 peridots -.-
Party your main, kill on alt. account, you won't be able to see it, but 2x drop is in effect. and your main should be able to gather them twice as fast [assuming your main = cygnus]
If your cygnus and main are in the same party, yeah it will work. You won't be able to see them but they will still drop.
You can only see the items on the character that the quest is on, and they should drop even when killing on another character.
Yeah but don't you see quest items on the cyg that are dropped if you two are in the same pty?

no if ur main doesn't have the quest activated his kills won't drop peridots
2x drop card + lucky winter = 10 peridots in 40mins
I found all the Peridots in about an hour and a half. Got 8 in 45 min, the last 2 took longer. It isn't that hard, there shouldn't be much need to do it on an alt.

I understand, its not rocket science, he is wondering if he was hunting on his main with 2x, is the peridots going to be 2x too because only the cygnus can see it
