Massive Freeze/Lag Spikes Still Happening?
Once selecting a character and going into the game, I get massive freeze spikes every 8-15 seconds that last for around 2-3 seconds. It gets really annoying and makes Maplestory almost unplayable. I really love the game but I've tried to set affinity for BlackCipher and limit it to 1 CPU. I guarantee that it is not my computer specs as I have 16 gb RAM, 3.60 GHZ processor, and Nvidia 660 Ti 2gb dedicated RAM. However I think this problem occurs because I have Win 8. Is there anyway to fix this freeze spikes?

Just tried all compatibility packs, none seem to work and I still get lag... Any other fix?

Which compatability pack works the best?
Run maplestory using a different comparability pack. That worked for me earlier.
Happens to me too on Vista.
