No card playing in school

aiight so there has always been a no gambling policy in school but if its hard to tell if kids are playing card for fun or for gambling
and my school has been getting a lot of calls from parents going "my kid is in debt to another kid cuz he lost a game"
like jfc it isnt the card's fault its ur dumb kid's fault
on one hand at least the school is preventing kids from being bullied for playing yugioh (like jfc u are in hs, stop playing yugioh)
but this is bad for kids who love playing card games for fun and now cant
i think the parents should be talking to the kids, after all i hate dumb rules
so now the deans have to confiscate the cards

so in lunch this table always plays chinese poker like everyday and the dean came by and told them when she comes back they better have put away the cards or shes taking them
so the table puts them away and took napkins and drew the cards on them, all 52 cards. so they were using the napkins instead of cards and the dean got mad and made them throw away the napkins. i was dyingggg like yassssss go against the rules

lol, in my school, my counter argument was always related to art.
"Inspiration, Design" always worked.

My school got mad at me and my friends for playing poker in class while using ripped up pieces of paper as chips.
What kind of ghetto school are ya going to where gus play poker for cash?

I mean, IF ya're bringing a cardgame to school, have it be Munchkin.
the ghetto? if anything it's played in richer neighborhoods where people actually have money.

i played poker for cash in high school, it was mainly for fun but the money was incentive for people to not play like idiots.

OT: that sucks

@Thiefy996: actually the poker people played for fun
it was the yugioh players that played for cash

i remember senior year, me and 5 other kids used to play Uno in 5th period almost every day, it got to the point where we didnt even take it serious and we started to play some wierd makshift game where if you put down like a 2 or something you'd get to switch cards with anyone and we started saying peoples cards out loud
our teacher was an idiot, it was literally 1 in the afternoon and he would sleep, he even gave us answers to his Finals and chapter tests

one of my friends actually had a hook up for those vapor cigarette things and sold us all one and it was pretty sick, we'd be smoking in class

The teachers in my hs didn't care, people were playing cards but weren't gambling. I played a card game called "president" with a couple of my friends, the teachers would look at us then walk away.

In my high school, they confiscate all kinds of card games, including yugioh cards. It's really bad.
