I don't think you'd need a review book for Chemistry.
It's a quantitative class, just figure out what concepts are on the exam and master them.

Princeton Review is great for APUSH.
It gives nice, detailed summaries of historical periods from the colonies to the early 2000's.
For APUSH though, you are going to need A LOT more than just a review book to get a 5. You have to go fairly in depth into history and cultural context.

OH YEAH! Anyone have any tips for AP Chemistry or just the test itself? I'm taking the class this year too.

I took my AP tests commando. Well, not in the nude, but I didn't use any study books. Just use online outlines throughout the schoolyear, don't touch school textbooks. They're always full of crap (specially APUSH ones). My AP Chem teacher said he didn't like Princeton, everything else was okay I think.

Princeton Review is the best one in my opinion. I've been teaching with it, and it works well. They explain all the problems and essay problems.

And 98% means nothing. Trust me. Your teacher is the most important aspect of your learning. My friend had a 101% in Adv-chem in 10th grade and ended up with a D- in AP Chem because of his teacher.

Do well in the class, do your homework and study diligently, and quite frankly, you won't need to study for the AP test itself.
Or maybe my year was just exceptionally good at chem.

I'm told the white/green AP prep books are pretty good, while the blue-covered ones aren't. I don't know any brands, lol.

EDIT: You might major in chem? Do it do it do ittt. Make sure you like though lol.

lol don't insult the intelligence of basil. i've come across many people who are smart. i guess we all have our own opinions, but no need to be so narrow minded.
idrc if u think i'm dumb or not, but i've got a 98% test avg in chem honors right now. idk y u're so offended by my asking about review books on basil.
@Meowijuana: Well obviously you're not asking about our opinions on your intelligence but you know, we're human beings - not rocks: we can be critical and think ahead. Shocking, I know, but try to get your head around it!

Basil? Smart people? CRAWLING WITH SMART PEOPLE? Oh, don't make me laugh: it's 3:30 AM and I'll wake everyone up.
I don't know, lots of basilers are in post-secondary so it doesn't seem like a long shot.
