Got about 10 lunar dews when I started regretting it. I thought that I might as well go on because I was already halfway.

Turns out there is another quest after. Oh only 10, this will take only 5 mins. No, it took longer than the lunar dews. If you are reading this thread and thinking of doing the quest, don't do it, unless you are a hacker botter cheater

just found out about this skill today. hunted lunar dews for 1 hour then gave up.

I'd say I've spent 1.5 hrs on 2x Drop and not even 1 yet. Only bothering to do it right now because I'm getting hundreds of nut cases so I won't have to buy pots for a good while.
I used to think doing that Lidium quest (anyone remember that? maybe it still exists) was bad - this is most definitely worse! Eh, what can I say, I'm a glutton for punishment.

if you think lunar dews are hard.. I pity you when you actually start the skill quest's nameless darkness.
and yes, they drop from both male and female. Source: I've maxed vampire and flame gears.

I remember doing it on my old Buccaneer and it took me a month of hunting on and off during 2x events with Easter Drop buff or something.

It's very useful on Shadower and Dual Blade with gollux and other bosses. (Mostly on Gollux)

Thanks all, none yet. For now they are still in my class range but that's only for another level and a half. After that, I think I will wait for 2x events. I'm starting to wonder though if they really do drop from desert rabbits haha.

quest drops/ETC. drops/USE drops are not affected by level difference. Only equips and mesos are affected by level difference.
I hunted for lunar dews at bunnies when I was lv 200.

The lunar dew section took me about 45 minutes to complete. It's the part after that made me give up...

I completed the quets in 1x drop took me around 1 week
I dont know how could i even finish it i was crazy back them... And the skill doesnt even worth
At least now you can get Spiegelman necklace and familiars buffs

i second this, and a part of what the first poster said. 2x drop buff (lucky winter) + 2x drop (event) + greed pendant + kanna friend/mule.

^what he said, they're impossible to get, 100x worse than getting PoTs pre BB. And honestly the skill isn't even that good depending on class and is often easily replaced. but if you must complete for quest's sake, then god's speed.

I recommend only hunting lunar dews during a 2x event WITH a 2x drop Cash Shop Coupon AND a 2x drop buff OR familiar (Familiars will cancel out the 2x buff)
The above will preserve your sanity because the drop rate is insanely low. I have done what you are doing now. I hunted for all 20 lunar dews and 50 earth cleaving lightnings/nameless darkness. It is not an easy task.
It took me between 15~25 hours to complete the [b]entire questline[/b] on 8x drop (2x event, 2x cash shop coupon, 2x BUFF, Greed pendant)
Once again, only hunt during 2x events and make sure you dedicate the entire 2x event for specifically hunting lunar dews.

EDIT: Also, the Cygnus skill is somewhat useless and outdated by now. I suppose it's sort of useful if you're a thief since vampire allows HP drain. But it is not worth the effort.
