Just came back to the game, and I'm planning on starting fresh. I don't have NX, so I can't buy a shop? Is there any way to make good money without a shop?

I'm in the same boat as you I don't exactly have money at this point, but have been able to get a few mastery books (17mil worth) by just doing those boss things that spawn in the map and get lucky on the bonus stage.

Someone told me to kill Easy Zak everyday and you can make about a mil off the pots he drops. WIll do.
Pick up the money dropped by the monsters you murder.
Lots and lots of time spent into the game, training and getting their equips, npcing them. Rinse and repeat for your first mil.(;
