The fact that me calling you on your bs story pissed you off so badly that you ran and got your friends to come back you up speaks volumes. I called you on your bs story, even complimenting you on the talent all the while, and still, you were so mad at being busted as lying about the time and effort it took, you got your lil' windian dink-brigade to come in here, talkin' ish, calling people names & pukin' out drivel like "jelly", (just like the children that they they obviously are). Now you show that you were in-fact all butthurt and mad, cussin' on skype.

You took longer than 20 mins and it's not a doodle. I liked the work and even said so in my post, and you, pissed because someone didn't believe your bs story, ran to get your friends and flipped the hell out. As for the statements of your friends; yes, I can type in paragraphs. It's called English, and no, nobody's jealous. I also don't get all pissed off when someone calls me names and run to get my friends from my server. I can fight my own battles, but hey, that's just me.

There was never any hate towards you, other than the bs claims regarding the effort placed forth while creating the work. Your artwork was lovely & I liked it, and even told you as much, only telling you that I just wouldn't thumb it up, (you can't thumb down, "dawg" ), because of the bs background story you tried to pass off instead of just being proud of something nice you drew, like every other little stain on here that makes up bs about them making works in 10 seconds with their eyes closed and one hand tied behind their back. It's a show of stupidity and turns a lot of people off, including myself.

Btw, If you're so worried about impressing your peers with some understated time-frame and downplayed story about something being effortless, to the point that when called on it, you lose your temper, throw a cussing fit in skype, and then run to get some friends from your server to come bash someone that hurt your widdle feewings, you've got a helluva lot worse problems than a "20-minute-doodle" situation.

Peace. I honestly didn't mean to upset you, nor did I "rub anything in your face", regardless of how you took or how butthurt you are about it. (I won't remember you in "20 minutes", so feel free to rant and rave and get all your lil' teenage friends in here to back you up.)
I get this bs all the time, I'm a street artist and I used to go art college, people always drawin over my graffiti and callin it crap. A quick pose like that is basic for any kind of art student. Drawin like that should take less than 5 mintues without color. If your lil internet post mad me man, all them cholos out there callin me out for bad art would have 66 stab wounds and all them homies on the street would know it was me.
I'd call it a non-doodle if I had completed the work, but obviously its not done.
I honestly would have +1 liked your picture, as the work is very good, but you lied. You tried to downplay your work. Instead of just saying "I drew a pirate" or some other related statement, first you titled it "Pirate - doodle", insinuating you took no time whatsoever making this work of art, then you further go on to say "found some left over water colors" & "walmart brush", even going so far as to then claim it only took you "20 mins". You overly downplayed your work. Your ability to create faux humility is terrible, to the point that you outright made up stuff and lied. I don't like being lied to. No thumb for you. Otherwise, great work.

P.S. It's okay to own watercolors, draw, and create works of art, drawings, & sketches. Being an artist is a good & honorable thing, no matter what da homiez on da blocc told ya. -_-
@xXSyKoXx

edit, found out what was wrong

Basil wont let me post sayin that i wrote a cuss... which CRTL + F and couldnt find it

I apprecciate +1's but it ain't like i get off on em, dawg.

1) i call anything draw under 30 mintues, didnt take lots to think about, or aint particularly big in size or details, a doodle.
2) i stole them from school. so "finding leftover watercolors" is much more appealin than "stolen water colors"
i still dont know the brand.
3) Walmart brushes because thats where i bought them. they was unbranded so could only go on "walmart brush"
4) it was for a 20 mintues speed draw. I took the watercolors n when i got home, i challanged a friend to a 20 minute speed draw contest. I drew the outfit without first referencing maplesim, so thats why the outfits are different from the sprite character on the top of the page. I broke down the time it took to draw on a different comment. I do draw this rather fast. If you notice, its a common pose that i could probably draw with my eyes closed. Im really familiar with pose
I wasn't all that happy with this picture to 'downplay' it anyway. I didnt get how to use them watercolors n instead of finnishin the piece before uploadin it, i kinda jus raged quitted and cropped the bad/unfinnished parts outta the photo.
edit2: forgot to mention that "walmart brush" is also a runnin joke between my friends. They tease me for being unbelievably cheap. In a bunch of comics and doodles that we do, you'll find them messing around with me about 5 cent BIC mechanical pencils.

P.S. I am now a proud owner of 'leftover' watercolors. Thumb me up or thumb me down. I dont really care, but I aint a lyin rat, dawg.

Eugh, watercolors. I will never touch that foul medium again. Unless...

How do you get the colors so smooth? Whenever I use watercolors, they come out in very uneven and unattractive shades.

It was for an art competition. Me Vs a friend to doodle something in water color.
20 mins. water color, pencils, pens, timers were already set up so i didnt have to worry about finding anything while we were drawing.
--
3 mins to sketch out really bad ananomy
2 mins to add face details
8 minutes to slap on some water color
7 minutes to ink and line art it.

i actually didn't finish the piece. she's got legs that i didn't have time to ink
if you wanna be technical, it maybe took 5 or so minutes to upload to photoshop and mess with lighting. So 25 mins, i guess
