Removing bots in Fm / Ticket Sent / Response from Nexon

So, I came up with a pretty good idea, at least from the perspective of the basil community, to only allow access to FM to those above level 20. The basil community convinced me, for various reasons to increase this level requirement. The idea is to limit the bots in FM or at least make it more difficult for those creating the bots from putting them there.

So I sent the following ticket to Nexon:

"Hi, as you know there are numerous bots in FM. In general they add to lag and get in the way of people trying to sell things. Also they advertise webpages which I'm sure you're not so happy about. We as a community feel that there is a fairly easy way to solve this problem. Simply make a level requirement of about level 30 to enter free market. No one ever goes there, for legitimate reasons, below this level. It will be fairly time consuming for those creating the bots to continuously reach this level. Hopefully this will help the botting problem.

Thank you for your time.
Michael Vitarelli"

And here is the response I got from Nexon:

"This ticket has been closed, and you will not be able to add additional information. If you need to provide additional information regarding your issue, please submit a new ticket."

That's it. No response at all. I felt this was actually a good idea, and it would save Nexon time from having to remove the bots... But no, Nexon doesn't care at all about improving the game all they care about is adding functionality that results in them making more money. In the long run this idea would probably save them money. For one, such as my self and many others on here that actually want to improve the game, this is somewhat discouraging. I'm curious has anyone sent feedback, in regards to game improvement, to Nexon and gotten a response? This is my only ticket I've sent in, and even though I have other ideas to improve the game I'm not going to bother trying again >.<
Another mmo I play implemented a similar solution. They have a chat that goes out to everyone on the channel and the bots were starting overrun it with ad spam. They implemented a restriction that made it so no one under level 40 could use that chat. Using that same idea with accessing the free market is a great idea. Maybe even take it so far as to limit players below lvl 30 from talking too often in all chat, whether it's the same sentence or not. That would handle the bots in towns as well. Too bad nexon didn't seem willing to listen. Maybe try posting the idea in the suggestions forum.
actually, it's only 30+ if you use the quick move.
you can still walk inside below lvl 30 through the portal
Well, if you want to transfer items you can use Ardentmill or any town or any other place. And does it seem Nexon is going to pay a GM to stay on FM all the time?
So we are talking about moving bots to Ardentmill too... New players would have to wait till lvl 30 to try out the FM and sell their itens. This would make everything harder for legit players, and Bots would find a way to stay in FM...
nexons too busy creating new nx items/sales for any of that stuff. i sent in a ticket suggesting to change the way accounts are deleted, and how to get item locks. they said the same exact thing to me. in the long run they'd save money, but they don't even read the tickets, it's just an automatic response. i honestly don't see this game lasting another year if they can't upgrade their services
It's hard to say how long it will last. I'm very curious to see statistics on how many people are playing during a given day, and how many people are joining. I'd like to see these statistics over the past 6 or so years. Basically, I feel that game will "last" as long as it's profitable for Nexon to keep the servers up, which at this point I feel it is. You can check out Nexons Wikipedia page and look at their profit and growth. I still enjoy that game, not as much as I did a few years ago, but it's still fun. However, I feel Nexons rather obvious focus on profits vs. content killed the magic for me.
Not only for mini-dungeons
That is applied to places like Malaysia Fantasy Theme Park and Leafre as well. Leafre is the worst, you can't even step outside the town without 50 fame
But yes, I suppose GMS could use such a system especially for more popular maps. It would reduce the number of botters and hackers, especially at places like Lionheart Castle because the botters and hackers will have to take time to get 50 fame.
Well I would not make it 50 fames, more than 20 fames to be more reasonable. I know it would not eliminate hackers completely but it would take the hackers more effort to hack, which would make it less viable.

Yea Lvl 20 to enter FM, Lvl 30 to enter crafting places, Fame requirement for all mini dungeon and high level training places would be good
It's easy to get to level 30. Botters will just bot to get to level 30. Also they spam in other places like in crafting town and other towns.
That will actually discourage some people in doing such a thing. It happened in D3 where botter could simply spam the general chat with their gold selling website just by logging in and now they actually need to reach a certain level to spam the general chat. The problem has greatly been reduced. Some botters will get to level 30. Some will not. It's like making something illegal, a lot of people will stop doing things because it's illegal and a few will remain.

Reducing the problem will actually make the game better in a way because you can't really eliminate this kind of problem.
It's not really a good idea when you restrict legit players of all levels. I use my mules to do trades in FM.
This is the most valid reason against my proposal. A slightly better idea is what ox0Shad0w0xo came up with, where you have to be say level 30 to chat. This will serve the same purpose, in restricting bots (at least the bots ability to properly function) and still allow you to use your mules

This is true, but this is further wasting the botters time. Lets say it takes 45 min to get to level 30, that's 45 min they don't have
