I just watched Tapped

It's a terrible movie in my opinion. Trying to scare you to not buy bottled water. Oooooo, bottled water is scary! It uses *dun dun dun* PLASTIC! Humans natural enemy! And they dis on this one guy, over and over and over, I just feel sorry for this one guy, hes just doing his job, it's not a bad job, hes just promoting his product, which happens to be water.

They did all these total bullcrap tests on bottled water, saying that if you drink a few bottles of bottled water, you can give yourself an abortion if your pregnant, and you can get cancer. Yep. That's right, you can get cancer from bottled water.

This is true to an extent. If you drink bottled water everyday for a few years, then yeah, you can possibly risk yourself to contracting cancer. What you should really be afraid of is using the same plastic bottle over and over, that can have bad effects on your body. Thats why you should drink bottled water out of a glass bottle. Simple as that.

The only thing you should really be afraid of when you're drinking it, is soda. For lots of reasons, but I digress.

The reason I don't like this movie, is because it just is so bias to one side of the argument. If your trying to make a good argument, you've gotta show someone both sides, and let them decide what they like best, not trying to scare them. Which is what this movie is trying to do. I'm not saying I support bottled water, or big corporations, or anything like that, I'm just saying this movie is terrible and it should just be avoided.

If you've seen this movie, what did you think of it? If you haven't, do you think drinking bottled water is a bad thing?

@xLMAOxHEARTx: I refill them a few times before squishing them and recycling them. I have a plastic reuseable one but the problem is I take the bottles with me a lot and if I end up forgetting one, it's not an issue. I might just bring one of these with me from now on

I never believed that bottled water will give people cancer... I drink on average 2-3 Poland Spring waters a day... gotta love cheap 36 bottle cases of water at Costco ^^.

My family's history of cancer will get me before my water does. I don't worry. That being said, I go through 3-4 bottles a day and I really don't plan on stopping.
