Dc every 5 minutes or less
After the most recent patch I keep dcing, I usually DC every 5 or 10 minutes and if I get lucky I can usually stay online for about an hour to 30 minutes, but it usually ends the same, and I usually DC. I don't think I'm being hacked or anything because it has happened everyday since the most recent patch. Help?

This had been happening to be after the patch.

It just dcs me saying "You have been disconnected". Sometimes the entire client will close out.
Maybe also try exiting out of some not wanted background software like Hamachi or Steam

From what I have discovered, the events that make you wait around 30 minutes cause disconnection. When ever I do those event quests, I disconnect a lot so you might not want to do those waiting event quests
Have you tried turning it off and back on?
Serious OT: Try redownloading maplestory. If that doesn't work, play it through steam if you aren't already. Playing through steam fixed the majority of my problems.
Does MapleStory just shut down or does an error message pop up? Some more info would be nice.
