What does 6% attack mean. Like does it just mean 6% of your attack range?

ooh ok. say i have 6% total damage and i do 100k damage. would i then hit 106k?
Would 6% total damage be better than 6% attack?
Attack % increases you damage. I'm not exactly sure how the calculation goes, but it takes your damage range and increases it. Damage %, on the other hand, does not increase your damage range, but any damage that you do to enemies gets buffed.
