Idk, I started at 2006 to play maplestory. I would play with friends and chat with them some times threw maplestory but now that I know whats leeching is I saw a lot of people doing it but not talk about it.

When people around you kill and you afk and/or buff. Mainly used in LHC and Hall of Honor, but Twisted Jesters and Aliens will have leechers too

Leeching is basically letting someone else do something for you while you benefit of it, in this case, leeching the experience.
