How to survive Madman Ranmaru
I have like 26k HP and majority of the time he one shots me. Is it just me having low defense or do other night lords have this problem as well? Any recommendations? Thanks!

@Dominion: back in the day yeah, its easy to get ~30k hp and 9999 max defense these days.
personally, it annoys me that my clone dies in 2 hits, (~19k? damage,my clone has 2xk hp id say)
my hp is 31k, it hits me for 15k, i take 2 hits, my pet heals me to full up. this way shadow meld is constant, instead of having to re cast clones.
if you were a db, i would say take touch damage. touch damage is.. ~16k, depending on your def (mine is maxed)
though you should have high avoid and you should be getting hit once every 10 times i would say
I tried fighting it with just weapons on and found it hit 28k touch damage and I believe it did 40k+ magic damage(?) back in the day. But as a DB you can use multiple i-frame skills to get to the other side so why tank o.o
As you get more magic defense you will find him hitting for a lot less damage. Grabbing an hb neb and swapping pants may also help you survive the ranged hits. Until then, maybe try to dash through him to dodge or take the touch damage if possible.
I didn't even know that madman rammaru could 1hko us . Been doing it since level 180 and never got killed by it (xenon with 58k hp). However I take its hp bar really fast

@minchuzuk3: Lool
Just walk past him so he shoots the other direction.
You can use a recovery rune so it doesn't 1 shot you
kill it b4 it kills u. survival of the fittest
@iAbdvL I like to help people out.

very specific.
You're doing it wrong.
Madman has a 1 shot kill for most classes. You just need to kill off one full HP bar before he can cast the skill. Easiest way to go about it.
Even on my BM I really didn't have a problem. Are you DR-ing yourself to death?
His attacks have a long charge time, you can dark sight and jump to the other side.
Mages and warriors don't have this problem though. Max HP shouldn't be a problem at all.
