i hate when this happens
i am applying for something uber competitive
i ask a professor for their contacts
they say 'oh sure, should i use my work phone or home phone?'
i reply 'whichever you prefer'
5 days later they don't reply
don't they realize that the time is ticking? ! ? !
so this is the real reason why you plan ahead of time..
