Which class would do more damage?
I was hoping some basilers could help me decide on which of these classes would do more damage and have a higher dps.
1. A 19x demon slayer (after hypers) with 75% Str 210 weapon attack
2. A 170-180 luminous with full empress and 30% int with the set and Thanatos ill have about 230 magic attack as well
(Please account that I will have all skills maxed except MW, and if it helps I have every link skill available)
EDIT: I began selling my % Str. No offense to my ds I love playing it. But I have been playing this game for a long time and have played a lot of classes. The only thing that's gonna keep me interested is to play a new character. Thanks for the help for everyone who replied to this thread you helped a lot

Yea just about 150 to 200k on bosses after using cry. If I will be hitting this or more on a lumi I might be making the switch. Also the % int and magic attack will get better over time when I get som more funds
And full empress gives 30% boss damage as well

40-42 k Unbuffed 50-52k self buffed. (Close to that I'm not logged in at the moment)
After DS revamp : DS wins Before? Lumi wins
Anyone final concencous? More damage in general higher #'s it doesn't matter if its against bosses. It seems to be leading towards lumi for damage with these stats

I don't hard core boss (no empress,pink bean, etc)
Reason being i don't cube often or have % boss
I still boss on the simple bosses tho (hilla, zak, ht)

I really like my ds but im not really gonna be leveling it anymore. Also i just read on the maplestory homepage that the epic pot scrolls are only 7 days. Which means I need to make my decision very soon if i want to epic mage empress and sell my % str, or stay with my ds. (Idk what im gonna use the epic on besides maybe my aegis)
Keep in mind DS are getting a very nice revamp soon-- including hyper skills like cerberus and blue blood <3
And in that same patch, lumis get nerfed.
IMO, go with the DS
