Hero or Dark knight?

I want to make a new main for BB. I decided It definitely has to be either a Hero or Dk, and I'm confused. What are the pros and cons? How expensive will it be to support them? I like both classes, but I've never really made anything other than mages and clerics. :S

Opinions?

I'd say hero. Brandish at 3rd job, Panic does 4800% damage with all 10 orbs, and 3rd job skill chance+ Monster Magnet=Win
Cheap and warrior dont go together.
If your going to make a warrior, expect to put money into it, that is if you even want to keep up with the other warriors. The warriors are all equally the same cost. the only difference is the weapon, and shield (excluding drks)

I made all 3 warriors myself (all 4th job)

A hero, I recommend this job for you, they are very straight forward and pack a powerful punch. they use a combo system of orbs to deal finishers and now obtain a new move called "brave slash" powerful and deadly like brandish was but now an enhanced version of brandish. Heroes are known for their high fast hitting damage even without a shield, they perform very well. So going two handed wouldnt be such a bad idea, meaning only elite dmg psychos go for the 900m-2.1b shields (scania) becoming insanely expensive. Although the speeds of weapons (1H) attack much faster and really push themselves to the top.
I recommend this job for you. However know with BB the combo system will be making a come back so instead of mindlessly spamming brandish/brave slash, it might call for those combo finishers to come into play in certain situations.

The Dark Knight, Id say theyre the flashiest warrior and are known for having the highest damage in very short periods of time. They are very slow with their attack styles and their weapons are also all slow or very slow. This job has a more dependence on weapon type if you want to just keep up with the other warriors in damage, making this class expensive if your a Damage freak. However with BB coming up, this class will become easier to use in 4th job. Meaning the old berserk (4th job move) would force you to stay under half of your HP to do good damage (currently). However now they gain a 100% hp berserk making it very easy to play. (BB) This class has the least defensive capabilities but the longest reach (Range) of attacks, yet still plagued all its life as a pot burner which is why they have the dk&preist stereotype. But with BB that just might change.

If your patient make a paladin, they are very different from the other two warriors as in attacking style theres really multiple ways to make a paladin. Very nice class. With BB coming they are also the most defensive and tactical out of the 3. Of course if you have no warrior experience I dont recommend a paladin as your first for they can be a tad complicated with this class you actually have to think about which move to use and when and how to execute it. Very unique class that keeps improving with the updates and continues to grow even better than it currently is.

All in all the warriors are all great classes all very different from the next. its all about funding if you want damage. So if you need more tips Ill become extremely detailed if youd like on a certain job of your interest.

Honestly though if you really have to ask this question do EVERYONE and including yourself a favor, DO some dam research before makin a thread like this. Its against basilmarket rules, its considered trolling, harassment, and a bannable offense.
Sir I respect you

this answer is by far one of the most detailed and "on-point" answers of all time in basil history =]

i don't like how people keep saying heroes have faster attacks. sacrifice has a shorter delay than braveslash... even when heroes use fast swords

Most of these answers are dumb, No one can tell you what to make, its up to you. Do you want to focus on killing mobs or bossing? Do you want higher overall damage numbers or faster attacks? Do you want to spend lots of money on weapons and mastery books? Do you have someone to help you with your build and helping you get things for that character, like skill books? It all depends on what you want.

Well I've never had a spearman or dk. I personally really enjoy my fighter (I'm doing job advance quests right now for sader). I just read some of the changes for fighters and saders, and I have to say I hate them.

Hero have some of the highest one-on-one DPM ever recorded (great for bosses), and DK have some potent mobbing skills. As for funding, it really depends on what weapon you choose. A 1h sword hero has some of the most expensive weaponry in the game when considering the 400+mil you'll be spending to get a shield powerfully enough to rank you higher than 2h sword users, however, although they might have a slight damage disadvantage, 2-h axes are some of the CHEAPEST weapon choices in the game, enabling you to make ridiculously powerful axes with a fraction of the money you'd spend on a sword, spear or pole-axe...

I'd make a dark knight.
I think their fun, they don't have too many followers unlike other classes, beholder will attack after BB and we get like a mini sharp eyes in 3rd job, berserk works with 20%+ hp and sacrifice is the most epic attack ever. The 60%'s usually cost 1-1.5m and all the rest are pretty cheap too.
The bad things though are while leveling it can get pretty boring, but bishops love your hyper body so it's pretty quick.
No shields so we can't add a ridiculous amount of watt to ourselves (for the ultra fundeds) but we can use 2h att!
Our damage isn't the best early on but I think after like 130-140 we rise.
I can't really think of any other cons though, the big bang makes them soo epic.
But if you're a damage wh0re then go hero? lol idk

EDIT: The range isn't too bad either, I made a dawn warrior and I'm always touching things getting knocked back because I'm too close. With being a drk you don't really have that, that much, not to mention instead of the mob knocking you back, crusher knocks THEM back.

Ooo, coming form a high-leveled Hero, that has to send a message...

OT: DK, more HP, more party support. Plus, Pole Arms are cheaper... in some cases...

@ProRemake: Crusher hits 4 times with 60% more damage if your HP is above 20%.
