some questions i have are:
-is it worth it?
-i heard there are some heating issues but i couldnt really find anything about it online. do you know anything about it?
-is it true you cant take out the battery?

Thanks guys!

Yes, it won't be able to play CDs with that laptop without an external optical drive. If you have an ISO image on that laptop, you can use a program like Virtual CloneDrive to run it though.

Anyways, the laptop is good enough for B.Ops and Maple and it is priced well.

Good for what? What will you be doing on this computer? Also what's your budget?

i3-2330M with the GT540m and N.Opti., 750GB HDD space, and 4GB of RAM with an 13.3" for $530 before tax. It has a battery life up to around 8 hours. It lacks an Optical Drive (this is to keep the weight under 4.5lb). The TimelineX can get rather warm to the touch under load which is to be expected on these laptops, but it shouldn't overheat (provided that you maintain it properly and that you put it on a flat hard surface and not on your bed). And yes, AFAIK, the battery is not easily removable. You are require to open it up to get the battery out.
