Between the current gen consoles and handhelds, the 3DS has the best library so I'm inclined to agree. I only wish Nintendo took the account system more seriously and actually gave people what they wanted.

I'd say PC is the best, emulate it all while using a controller/touch screen/tablet/mouse and keyboard. Plus you can have 3D or a 4k-6k screen, yea Xbox 1 and PS4 can have one as well, I suppose, but they can't have 2+ =), and you'll never be limited to what you can play. Only down side you'll have to find someone to make the emulators...

I would have to say that Wii U is a must have compared to PS4 and XBox One IMO.

I love the Wii U since November 2012 and it would have been a dumb choice to trade it in. It has plenty of games that interest me.

PS4 and XBox One games are lack luster. The only game that interest me at this point is ACIV, which I already got on the Wii U.

CoD: Ghosts? It's also released on the Wii U, even then, it's nothing special to scream and cry about.
Battlefield 4? Not gonna bother because it's EA.
Killzone Shadow Fall? No thanks. I'd rather play The Last Of Us.
Knack? Boring gameplay...
Ryse: Son of Rome? Nope...
Titanfall? Project X on the Wii U is much better.

the list goes on... No, that doesn't make the Wii U better, I just prefer the Wii U over PS4 and XBox One. If I want a PS4, I'm waiting till 2014 to get it.

have to admit, temple run and fruit ninja are pretty fun. I would prefer to play those games then any of the games currently on the xbox one or ps4

@jh92 You can if you have the little mini light accessory that plugged in where the charger cable would go. Worked for gameboy color as well lol.

@Momo123 Of course the 3DS has the biggest lineup, it came out in march 2011 and the PS4 and Xbox One both just came out this month. And the Wii U is doing horribly because Nintendo was not caring at all about putting out solid titles for their new console to take advantage of their 1 year head start on Sony and Microsoft. No they decided to focus on the 3DS until the competition was right on their heels.

It would be more fair to compare the 3DS with the 360 and PS3, but you'd probably say it doesn't count since those have been out way longer (lol hypocritical if you do), but the 360, PS3, and Wii are still the main three consoles everyone has, so you can't really rule them out just yet. Majority of people haven't upgraded to the new consoles.

Besides that, handhelds are in a separate category from consoles to begin with. Different market, handhelds appeal more to the "on the go" gaming people. Not being tied down to a tv screen, convenient portability, that sort of appeal.

And this isn't me defending Sony or Microsoft, I love all three companies, just saying it's not really the right kind of comparison. Try 3DS vs Vita lol.

I prefer PS Vita over 3DS, i own both, and android phone, ew, just thinking about gaming on a phone make me sick.

I haven't played a ds game for like 6 years. I bought the 2ds only for playing pokemon x y. Now, I might get another 3ds game now.

GBA was propped up by ports and remakes. the launch title was super mario bros 2 for crissake. it relied on SNES ports through its lifetime and even the original titles were just updated versions of SNES era games. the SP had the worst ergonomics of them all and sacrificed glorious AA batteries (endless gameplay forever), for a proprietary battery pack and an unneeded backlit screen. original GBA was better to hold and it played GB and GBC games.

when it comes down to it, the GAMEBOY was best during its heyday of 199X. the games were handheld versions of their console counterparts and still managed to be unique and worthwhile.

I haven't played Pokemon since Platinum which was 4 years ago. I bought Pokemon X/Y and it's outstanding. Plus, all my friends who are also the same age as me (21) play it as well

Those games really don't make it the best console because a lot of people stopped playing pokemon after the 7th grade. I'm only buying a WiiU for super smash bros and Mario kart. The rest of those games don't really matter to me. I was never interested in Zelda.
