First lesbian character
Female Kinesis have an obviously romantic storyline with Yuna and it's so adorable. There's even the artwork where they're holding hands and blushing and Nexon made sure to draw her as a female in that scene

It would have been so easy to just use the one artwork of male kinesis and Yuna having a romantic moment, but they made an effort to draw her a female kinesis version of that scene so that the lesbian relationship was unquestionable

isnt the first time u happen to play a homosexual by picking the noncanon gender of the character, female phantom - aria, male kanna - ranmaru, etc <3
I will never know why Nexon doesn't allow gay marriage, maybe one day they will though.

IIRC, Jay actually refers to Kinesis a few times with the gender-neutral they pronoun? (Honestly it'd be much easier to have gender-neutral pronouns for all classes that aren't gender-locked like AB or Mihile)
But on-topic!: I think it's cool that they introduced a lesbian character, whether intentionally or not. Maybe we can see some gay/bi characters in the future, though that probably won't happen for a while :0

@ichii: I haven't actually seen artwork for Male Kanna, the only "version" of Male Kanna I've seen is within the game itself. Everything that promotes Kanna is female. I know artwork for Female Evan's exist though.
To me, Aran is and always has been, and always will be female. She's been depicted as female in everything they've released of her since.
@aznpride112: Basically every non Explorer/main branch Resistance character. A lot of them have artwork for both genders yet only one of those is considered canon.

The only difference between the male and female Kinesis is the artwork. The dialogue is the same and clearly intended for the male version as they use "he" in it and Jay calls you "dude" on several occasions. Nothing but the artwork suggests that you're anything but male.
As far as I can tell, female Kinesis is about as canon as female Evan, Phantom, Shade, Luminous and male Mercedes(not gonna bother defending Aran).

In my opinion, and this is just my opinion, Leafre of the Past is just a dream. It's not actually canon (even though it's in the game), that's why "Male" Aran exists.

@sanergy: Both genders of Aran can be found in-game; a male Aran can be found in Leafre of Past while a female Aran appears in the Conference Room of the Alliance, and in Phantom's, Luminous's, and Shade's storyline.
@moonmirage: I like Kinesis, but when i was doing the story line and i figured out female kinesis was a lesbian i loved it more. Honestly, its just Nexon being lazy with changing things around to fit a female character rather than actually making her lesbian. There was a line or two where it said "he" instead of "she" in reference to female kinesis. But I am more than Okay with it, i just hope they dont retcon it or something later.

Female Aran. It even shows Aran as a female in the cut scenes/tutorial (At least it did when I played)
@terrorface: I honestly didn't know this was a thing until I saw some artwork of Maha tying up male Aran. It was interesting.
