So my dad left the garage open for like 4th time and are you just KIDDING ME ALWAYS LEAVES THE GARAGE OPEN AFTER LATE NIGHT DRIVES. So I have two cars that have been robbed - our main car with my mother's personal information for our car insurance and they took the practically all of our confidential info pertaining to that car. However, I am worried most about my mother's car because she basically had a lot of things that may be used by others. WHAT DO I DO? Oh btw, they left a flashlight like idiots but my mom already touched it. THIS IS NOT A TROLL THREAD BASIL. PLEASE HELP ME IN SERIOUS CRISIS.
No. They were in a rush to steal anything personal information my mother had.

However, can people do anything with JUST your car license information as well as your birthdate?
no they cannot, doing anything major, even going to the bank requires things like passports, work and family details etc etc. its not like they are going to give the robbers all of your mom's money just cause they know her birthdate, name and car license
Because he is old and forgets to do so for the love of god I don't even know why the newer car was open in the first place. We don't even use that unless our old one is unavailable. What's the point of calling the police for a very quick robbery of my car license and car insurance? I doubt they would do anything really especially considering my city.
It should be your responsibility to check if every thing is closed and secured. I fail to see how double checking is too hard to ask

But why is it that your dad left the garage door open, and the car door/keys open too?

Call your moms inssurance quick and tell them about the issue, they will surely lock the account for a week or so while they are securing the liscence info.
Done with that. I just found out they also stole the receipt for when my mom first bought the car in 2001. Now THAT is something I have worry about because my mother does not remember what was on it exactly as it has already been 12 years since...
Wait.. Did they steal the cars?
No. They were in a rush to steal anything personal information my mother had.

OKAY So I established that they only things they stole were my mom's insurance for the car which has practically nothing but the car license number and her birthdate. She also lost the car license which I have fully reviewed and I can supposedly confirm it has no harmful information.. How i reviewed it was that they only stole ONE of my mother's cars information as my newer car's insurance and whatnot was in a locked bag they did not want to bother with. However, can people do anything with JUST your car license information as well as your birthdate?

@OpTicNation I have already submitted a police report and whatnot. There is NOBODY in my neighborhood who would do such a thing because I know most people except for this one house of african americans who are always suspicious. Not to be racist or anything but they have had themselves reported by my neighbors for possibilities of crimes. I'm leaning towards them for the robbery.

@StrongestEvan Trust me they were in a rush as they only went through my cars' compartments relatively quick based off the situation
