Ca Dmv Point System
Hi basil, for those of you living in California, I am wondering if the DMV counts a talking on the cell phone ticket as a violation point? My dad just got one and he is really pissed at me because technically it was my fault. Also, it's his last point he needs before they suspend his license because he got caught for 3 DIFFERENT 1 point violations before. So, does the DMV count this cell phone incident as a violation point or no? Thanks for helping me out basil!

Whoops I'm sorry, I meant he got caught for running a red light 3 times before = 1 point each as shown in the link above mine.
Still, I am unsure whether it could jeopardize his license
