@TypicalBlackGuy i hate it when people go and say this... it's like the world pretends that they will stay the same as they were at 1994... just because they've changed (in a good way) doesn't mean they are sellouts...
@FlyingFiish17 remember it was a crappy pop crown... dont get ur expectation off to far... i watched the whole perfomance and i noticed two things...
1- Billie joe was drunk af
2-Billie had to cheer up the crown which sucks
this new album is like a fuse of warning, dookie, 1'/smoth, kerplunk, etc ... it has everything.. crazy solos, simple chords(which is awesome, cuz i'm able to play them on my guitar ^^), and no political/religion topics and stuffs.. .even though i LOVED American idiot and 21st century breakdown. But it's cool, cuz it's a fresh new beginning for them. BTW did any of u see the pipe bomb Billie recently dropped on iHeartRadio festival?.. it was epic LOL

Nah, lots of bands have done that. Most recent example is Smashing Pumpkins. Bands do that all the time when they're trying to become relevant again or have almost breached mnstrm success.

Don't diss Green Day, one of the best punk bands ever with Dookie. Close to god-tier bands like Blink-182 (srs)

No, I kinda suspect it'll suck if it's vaguely political. Srs, miss u carefree Green Day that didn't give a f about anything but getting stoned and making songs about jacking off and seeing prostitutes. Posters are plastered all over Berkeley. They look kinda cool I guess.
I used to love their older songs.. I actually completely forgot about them until I saw Billie's outburst on Youtube. Oh how I wished I could've witnessed that moment in person.

Haven't listened to it yet, but Im hoping to later today, I love there stuff so I'm hoping it's a good one. I've heard all of their stuff, been a core follower since like 2005.
