Craft or Buy?
So i need to get some %dex items for my merc and %str stuff for my DS. small things like 3% str top and bottom for the DS and 4% top and bottom for my mercedes. would i be better off buying the items pre-crafted and potted or craft and fuse them? Did the hidden pot rate during fusing decrease after the profession revamp? i was fusing brown skull caps on a char to raise up alchemy a week ago and after 30 fusions, i had no hidden pot.... bad luck or was it because the alchemy lvl was only lvl 1~2?

for my DS, i'd rather go right to lvl 90 equips (since the lvl 80 is an overall </3). but for my merc, i'm going to use the lvl 35-40 items just because theyre the only 3rd tier top and bottom archer pieces =/ now i just have to start crafting and fusing everything....

fusing costs less than crafting the actual item. AND THERE ARE NO LEVEL 90 ARCHER PANTS/TOPS...

so 3% does not nbelong to FM's 1~6 / 7/ 13 or 18.... maybe channel 2?

Where are you getting 110k from? The only things you [b]NEED[/b] to buy for crafting equips and accessories and molds and abrasives. Superior Molds costs like, 3k (even then, you won't be using these ones much either, more like the 500 mesos ones) each or something (I don't remember) and Superior Abrasives cost 50k each. Keep in mind, Superior Abrasives are only used for for like Androids, Hearts and high end stuff like 120/130+. Then the ones for 90+ stuff I think are 10k each. You usually only need like 4-5 of them per craft, so that's like 60k max (if you include the cost of molds and the chance of getting powders instead of refined ores) per craft. Also, I usually get a pot within 4-5 fuses, so that's 8-10 equips, and that's only from [i]fusing[/i] clean stuff. Then every so often I'd get pot from crafting etc. 15mill is an extreme exaggeration on the cost of making your own stuff. Just because you're level 198, don't consider yourself an expert in something you probably rarely do. I crafted and fused like 50 Half Earrings, and at best it cost me a few mill, maybe 6-8mill. You EASILY make that money back, considering I made like 10 earrings with 3%, 3 with 6% and 1 with 9%. Of course, when making class specific stuff, it's harder to make the money back, but that's the benefit of fusing and crafting. Buying may be easier, but it's not a great option for people who don't have the mesos to [b]waste[/b] on equips they can make themselves.

Lol @ 15mill to make. If you have the patience, it would take a couple of days to make and cost less than 1mill (unless you buy fatigue potions, in which case it'll cost a bit more). Especially since he said he wants level 90 stuff. You can't buy those ores from Nack, you need to farm them. In terms of cost, making your own stuff is mostly cheaper than buying, especially buying pre-potted stuff or stuff with hidden pot. Misinformed Maplers are funny.

I'll try fusing. lvl 90 warrior top and bottom are going to be a pain to make... not so much for the archer parts haha. or at least i'll try before giving up....
