Can someone help me with chemistry?
Given two polar molecules how would I determine which one has the higher boiling point?
Examples: H2O compared to H2S
and
H20 compared to CH4
I would imagine the heavier molecule would have the higher boiling point.
But I'm wrong since H2O has a higher bp than H2S so I have no idea.
Sigh ):
Edit: Im not sure, but is it that the higher electronegativity between the molecules the higher the boiling point?
