Here are some great animes that you should watch. I decided to skip all of the mainstream ones like Naruto and Bleach cause in my opinion they are </3

Fairy Tail (My favorite anime. It's about mages but with really good arcs.)
Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou (Great comedy, the best in my opinion)
5 Centimeters per Second (A movie that came out in 2007 but still looks good)
Expelled From Paradise (An awesome mecha movie that came out 2 months ago. Most of it is CGI but its still worth watching)
Koihime Musou (An anime based on an eroge and the Romance of the Three Kingdoms
Another (The Final Destination of anime, lots of people die in a brutal way)
Fate/Zero (Really good anime, based on the Holy Grail War)
Fate/Stay Night (The sequel to Fate/Zero)
Steins;Gate (Awesome anime about time travel)
Girls und Panzer (Its an anime about school girls using tanks as a sport, what more could you ask for?)
Btooom! (An anime about some people being stranded on an island which they are given grenades to kill other people and survive, really good story in my opinion)
Golden Time (A great comedy about law students, at first its super funny but it then gets more serious)
Witch Craft Works (The fire look so good, nuff said)

Akame Ga Kill (just watch it.)
Snafu/Oregairu (I would like to say this has to be my favorite slice of life anime)
Tokyo Ghoul (Be patient with this Anime, i'm impatient so waiting 11 episodes for the best part was hard)
Trinity Seven (If you like ecchi)
Sakurasou No Pet Na Kanajo (One of my favorites)
Sword Art Online (People dislike the second season but i'm fine w/ it.)
Attack on Titan (How have you not watched this yet?)

I wouldn't bother with Infinite Stratos, it's one of the worst harems ever.
