boku wa tomodachi ga sukunai transition from s1 to s2
I recently started the season2 and I remembered that the end of s1, the girl left on a train to somewhere.. Am i supposed to watch an OVA or something because the first episode of s2, they are back together..

Then perhaps you watched the 12th episode to NEXT on accident. Because if the girl that went on the train was Yozora, then that was the last episode to NEXT. It's because she saw Kodaka making his first friend that she decides to go on a trip, and leaves everyone. That was how NEXT ended. The first season ends with the group messing around, and Kodaka realizes his and Yozora's past friendship.
There IS an OVA afterwards, in between the two seasons, but it's really just everyone messing around through making a story...

you prob watched all of season 1, then on the last episode watched the ending of NEXT (season 2)
this isn't uncommon, i've seen it happen with stuff like oreimo as well.

no I watched the first season minus the NEXT first.. because the first episode of it didn't introduce all the characters. The one im currently watching is NEXT.
