AfreecaTV stream

I was browsing afreecaTV to look at some broodwar streams from sonic but I came across something called "MukBang" like the viewers literally watch a streamer eat a variety of food. Anyone else think this is weird? I'm korean but im basically a banana.

There's a thing called "Slow TV" that broadcasts stuff like a cruise ship sailing, or clouds streaming over mountains, or other "slow" stuff, 24 hours a day.
And people actually pay to subscribe to the channels.
Yeah- weird.
Is it similar to Man Vs Food and other eating shows?
someof them are like that, but there's ones with broadcasters just eating normal food.
