Japan's birthrate is "dangerously low"

http://www.businessweek.com/magazine/content/10_36/b4193012837623.htm

Apparently this is being caused by a larger portion of Japanese women waiting until a later age (~early to mid 30s) to marry and procreate. In response, one prefectural government is setting up an online dating site for local singles. You heard right: a government-sponsored online dating site.

Get to it, Japan!
ok i forget if its China or Japan, but because of overpopulation there is actually a law limiting ocuples to only allwing them to procreate and have one child.

But this is slowly catching up with them now, and caused this to happen
./facepalm

Get your information right first, then come back to me.

What's so bad about Nori? It's just seaweed, which is also largely used in sushi.

If the whole of Japan dies out, does that mean no more anime?

Good. Compared to America where everyone spawns babies, Japan is a nice change.

I hate those retards who adopt/raise a ridiculous amount of kids (Kate plus 8, etc)
Doesn't the Japanese live the longest though?
Yes they do.
The reason is the elderly dont have little kids to make them stress out and what not.
Imagine a Japan with more kids. Their life expectancy would drop 10 years I bet.
Low birthrate.
Not low population.
Well, if they wanted to solve the overpopulation, wouldn't a lower birthrate help?

Or am I going about this all wrong?

EDIT: Nevermind, I was going about this all wrong.

well, isn't japan an very populated country anyway?

wait, never mind. they have a lot of OLD PEOPLE. japan has much respect for people of old age, and usually you find daughters or sons taking care of older parents or grand parents instead of having their own family.
