Is it worth it to be hipster?
I mean... hipster culture can be considered the bridge between mainstream "talent" and other, newer forms of talent.
Then again, it gets kinda difficult to socialize with others, especially when some of your most trusted companions have confirmed into mainst-
(no, I'm going a bit out of context here)
So... what do you think?

You can't force yourself to be a hipster, you either are or you aren't. You seem to be a confused middle schooler attempting to find a clique at school. In real life, there are no laws to who you can socialize with; regardless of taste and fashion.
If you're into hipster stuff then you probably are already one, if you aren't then don't force yourself trying because that's like forcing yourself to become lesbian, gay, or straight. Complete rubbish.
Why not? You can be a firefighter if you want to to.
But everyone will hate you or something.
Be whoever you want to be.
