Somone just tried to hack me?
So I was in the FM today just sitting there and I get a trade from someone. he wasn't trying to sell me anything he just asked me if I could help him defeat magnus so we could become rich. Then he asked if I had a Skype and he said he would cast God mode and no delay. it sounded kinda sketchy I wasn't sure so I just cancelled and went on my way
But I wanted to share my story and to know if it was someone trying to hack me

you can't hack someone with only their ip.. unless you're trying to say that he's randomly going to ddos him / get his ip for no reason.

wrong, he sends him the "godmode" with a keylogger installed to it. so he hacks his account

Well people do that all the time so I'd assume it's a normal safe thing.
Just kidding. I hope you people are all kidding too, because this issue was talked about a CRAP TON on Basil in the past few weeks.
Basically, the guy Skypes with you, and he can steal your IP address through Skype, so then he hacks your IP.
Cancel trade = problem solved

He's probably going to give you a hack which would be a keylogger to get all your items.
Well, are you sure you should be trusting someone who says they'll be casting God Mode and no delay?
Probably. Somone else posted this already (Forgot who) people would go around hacking others through skype
