Benefits of having a water bottle factory in a town?

for Spanish we have to have an argument with different positions on establishing a water bottle factory in our town. I got the boss of the factory as my role, which sucks because i can't really think of any reasons why a factory should be established. i have these ideas so far:

-the town will be more famous
-the town will have more money
-Water bottles will be abundant
-there will be a surplus in job availability

I need positives for effects on animals/citizens : Any ideas?

Thanks!

I don't know how a water bottle factory could possibly be beneficial in any sort of way (environmentally speaking)
It can be loosely interpreted as a benefit to the locals economically, but that's honestly it.

Why could it be bad? Industry carelessly wasting local water sources (with or without consent of the locals) to be bottled or used as coolant, introduction of more polyethylene/polystyrene bottles into the local environment (and possibly introducing toxic chemicals to the locals through consumption of water in said bottles), ignorant people thinking that bottled water is more safe to drink than tap water when the FDA doesn't regulate their bottled water nearly as much as municipal water districts do..

I could go on for a while but you get the point

@MyOracle: I'm against it too It seems like a hard problem to fix though.

For animals? Let's see.

Well, companies are (well they claim to be) kept by strict standards by local officials to make sure they don't screw over the ecosystem, so you could say that the animals are safer with some company using the water. You could also say that with a large pumping plant animals are forced to live in smaller areas so populations of predators are likely going to go up (since all the animals are bunched up, it's easier to hunt. I wouldn't use that though.)
Honestly, only the second and the fourth are bonuses because
1. How many towns can you name where they have a water bottling plant? Exactly.
3. The company will more than likely ship 99% of the bottles to sell around the world; it's not as if they're keeping your water there. Otherwise, the water probably wouldn't be privatized.

Anyways, you could say that your town has a larger role in the global economy (total bs, but you could say it.)

You could say the water is in responsible (not really) hands so that it won't be wasted by stupid government officials (if the company is using it to make money, they probably won't use up all the water right away.)
thank you! and yeah i know im against factories to an extent but i got bad luck from the draw lol. do you have any ideas for animal benefits?

The factory could kill all nearby animals so they don't have to pointlessly eat each other to survive.
