Ap Reset scrolls for those that Hp washed already

So the description says it'll reset all AP except that spent on HP/MP.

Does that mean people who HP-washed, say, 20 times, will end up short 20AP to use for their LUK/DEX/STR/INT? If you were supposed to have 1000 stat points after a full reset, would you end up with 980 instead since it's counting the 20 times you HP washed?

Anyone previously HP-washed is welcome to post their results here, and good luck! I have a warrior I HP washed a while back, so if the 50 coins are easy to get, I'll post my results here.

To clear up confusion- HP washing (at least how I mean it) is using AP resets to effectively swap MP for HP. Not simply adding points to HP. HP washing leaves you with the same # of stat points, just more HP, less MP. http://www.basilmarket.com/MapleStory-Guide-HP-Washing-A-Comprehensive-Guide-329.html

The reason this "AP reset scroll except HP/MP" may not work is that at some point in the HP washing process you are indeed clicking the + button for HP. If this is actually recorded, it's possible they may see that we've added +10, +20, +2, +whatever AP to HP and not give those points back. It's a paranoid worry, yes, but before doing it on an important Main character, I'd love to see the actual results from real tests to make sure it's not a concern.

Like I said, I'll see if I remember which of my chars I did this on- I wanna say my DrK did the non-leveling method, and I honestly don't care about him anymore, so hopefully I can test it there before someone ends up with less AP on a character they actually care about.
lol i bet the TS just added 20 ap into hp a few weeks ago when he heard there was gonna be an ap reset scroll...

he clearly has no clue as to wtf hp washing actually is

@above.... no any kind of hp washing is now obsolete due to the fact you can't gain xtra mp ... unless ofc u gained it b4 this patch, then yes you can't use these ap resets to wash... but i think u shld still be able to use the nx ones to take points from mp into stats...
Before trying to feel superior to others by making pointless and blatantly wrong assumptions, how about if you take the time to actually read the thread? I clearly asked about HP washing. Not simply adding points into AP.

If you REALLY need me to explain, I'm happy to humor you.

I had some AP reset scrolls from an event a year or two ago, so I used them to HP wash some characters. I had so many I honestly don't remember which characters I used them on, so I can't conclusively test and post results of whether the new AP-all-but-HP-MP reset scroll works perfectly for all methods of HP washing

So no, it had nothing to do with simply adding points to HP a couple weeks ago. I have no idea how you possibly misread the thread to somehow get that out of it, but I hope I've helped clear up any confusion you may have had. Here's a nice guide if you need more help. http://www.basilmarket.com/MapleStory-Guide-HP-Washing-A-Comprehensive-Guide-329.html

@darkspawn980 Exactly- there's a few ways to end up with extra HP without sacrificing AP points from your stats. I never bothered with double-washing, so I can't test that with the new scroll. Hopefully it's not an issue, hopefully they simply look at your current base Stat points and give you that total. But you never know how Nexon's coded something...
HP washing = Taking points from MP and putting in HP
Bloodbuild = using AP to add HP
the first is double/multi washing, regular washing is bloodbuilding, then washing from MP to mainstat.

you have to bloodbuild to wash/multi-wash. but you don't have to wash to bloodbuild.

TS doesn't know what HP washing entails.

The scrolls do NOT reset AP placed into HP/MP. Those AP are set there until your character meets the minimum criteria to move the point from MP or HP to another stat via AP reset.

so to conclude.. you can't really take advantage of the ap full reset scrolls in terms of hp washing rite?

-_- If you washed, you don't have any points into HP already...
whats the difference?
hp washing: level up ap into hp, reset extra mp into main stat
blood washing: level up ap into hp
