Your worst merchanding story
Hello fellow Basilers!
I am here to share with you one of my worst merchanding story! Actually 2 story, and bothe of them being with the same seller!
It was about a month ago. I had a shop opened in FM saying I was buying Scroll For Cape for STR 60%. I also said to leave name and offer, not knowing how much those were worth.
So later on, some guy finally say he has few of those, and would sell to me for 4mil each. I thought it was a bit expensive, so I contact the guy saying I would buy for 3.5mil each. He refused and said I was trying to rip off that he could sell for more. Just for the heck off it, I kept browsing the FM for a week and found the same scroll for 2mil. Luckily I didn't buy from that other guy.
Now today same thing, I left my shop open saying I wanted to buy a certain item and to L/N/O. The same guy left me a message he had one in his shop if I was interested. So I go check, and the item was listed for 1.7bil. I couldn't afford that price and once again, I think this guy was over pricing his items because the same item I wanted and that he had has been sold for 660MIL last night from a different seller. I asked him what was his highest offer on it and he told me what the hell was wrong with me to ask this because apparently this guy takes no offer and expect to sell all his items the price he sets the items. I then explained to him that last night me and another person were bidding on this item from a different seller and that it was sold for half the price. He then said I was trying to rip off and that his price was fair. Also ended the converstation by calling me stupid. He was a complete ass to me. Why couldn't he just have said no and stay polite? This guy was seriously going overboard!
Have you met any rude merchand? If so, how did it ended? Any similar stories? Wanna share it with other basilers?
For myself, if I ever encounter this merchand again and offer on an items of mine, I wouldn't even sell it to him even if top bidder. Rather help out someone else who really want/need it for cheaper.

Sorry for the typo, I guess I'm getting my French and English vocabulary mixed up And yes, I feel you! When empress gear was more accessible to the FM, the price dropped alot. ie: Lionheart Battle Bracers was 129mil to 79mil. I was 10mil to short and so the next day, after I got the extra 10mil missing, they got back to 179mil
One time I bought 1 m.chaos scroll from that guy for like 15 mil and then he showed me another 2 of them and asked if I wana buy so I said yes. We traded and then I noticed that those 2 other scrolls are just regular scrolls.
One time I bought an AEE for like 14mil and the right after I bought It the price went down from like 16 mil to 13 mil. I sold it for 13 mil and the price went up to 16 mil again. I think.
One time.... * after 1000 stories* and that is how my merching usually go. That is why I don't merch.
Oh and one time I sew this guy named FMstores selling an item for like 3 the price he bought it. I told him its not nice to rip off people like that, even though he just got lucky to get his item for cheap. After that he didn't even answered and I left the fm meanwhile. When I was hanging out at Hennessy talking to people's and wat not, he started cursing me and calling me noob and idiot and stupid and all those kind of things. Just because I told him he overpriced his item. He called me like that for like...10 mins of arguing with him and defaming. Weird. Don't buy his stuff he's crazy.
