Baselord or Armor?
Hey guys I'm lvl 131 and soon going to be 140. I'm hoping to merch my 1bill into 1.5bill within the next little while. I'm wondering what would be best in terms of damage. All 5 pieces of the Empress set (clean) or a clean baselord? Currently with no buffs i max at a 9.2k range and I have 21% luk with a 103 attack dagger. Thanks for the help guys.

I don't think there is even a real question here.
Get the BASELARD, clean thing is even way better than all of your items, the entire empress set without weapon, is about 25% luk, so basically you gain nothing compared to your 2x% luk right now.
The entire set + weapon will best almost everything you can get with 1.5-2b funding, if you want better get ready to spend 8b per piece of equipment at least.
If it helps with 1.5 bill in windia i can buy the full armor for 800mill. Leaving me with 700mill to merch again. Also in windia a clean baselord is 1-1.2bill.
A Baselord is a happy camper.
A Baselard is a long dagger or short shortsword.
I would wait for the thief hype dies down ( Like the other posters said ) But if you were to do it right now, I would say get the empress set.
I reccomend going for the empress equips first.
Hat - 250m
Gloves - 200-300m
Shoes - 200m
Overall 200-300m
Cape - 500-1b
Which totals out to be a little over 1.5 bil if you find the items at a good price. Baselards are 128 att when they are clean so i reccomend sticking with your dagger until you have enough money to purchase the Baselard.
Also, the 5 set effect is only +2 skill levels on all skills or something like that. So it's not really worth getting 5 pieces of the set unless your going to be getting full empress in the near future. So for now, just purchase 4 of the set and save up and buy the other 2 around the same time. The 4 set effect gives +15 att.
Prices i bought my empress gear for:
Overall - 200
Shoes - 100
Cape - 600m (but i got it with 2l epic pot. cubed it once and got 6% luk!)
Helm - 100
Gloves - 170 (all 7 of my 60% gfa's worked so now its 19 att!)
Baselard - 700 (i got it cheap from a friend)

its gonna be a while till thief hype dies down w/ db revamp coming up and all. I'd say this: go buy the whole empress set minus the wep for now for the 5 piece set effect. later on when you have the money, buy the baselard
