Battlemage

Battle Mage 2 Job Build

Second Job SP Build
Standard Build Highly Recommended
This build is another build I created but again you can go anyway you want aslong as at lv 70 all the skills are maxed except Blood Drain. Why choose Blue Aura instead of Blood Drain? Because Blue Aura targets the whole party and that's very important because The Battle Mage is a party class. You can go solo BM but they're not as powerful and it's more difficult to get into Boss Quests. Another reason for Blue Aura is because of Advanced Blue Aura which is available in the 3rd Job Advancement and is very useful. I put Staff Mastery before Quad Blow because Quad Blow isn't nescesary at that time and your attack would be greater with Mastery + Triple Blow, Put one in dark chain at LV 30 because it will prove itself very useful in Monster Carnival

To either of you who "wrote" this guide, why do you think blue aura should be maxed before yellow aura? You're not going to be fighting many (if any) monsters that could one hit you prior to 3rd job (and even before 4th job), so the only use for it is saving potions for the party. In most PQ's you won't be using many potions (except for cpq, but those potions are free anyway) and low-levels rarely party together while training. If you want to save money while training however, I suppose you could go with blue aura instead

Having a faster party combined with faster attack speeds would be more beneficial in the early levels. Yellow aura gives the party a nerfed version of speed infusion (which is a 4th job skill) in second job. That will allow you to kill monsters faster whether you're pqing or training. Really in second job it comes down to whether the party wants dark or yellow aura, which I think is more dependent on the number of hits it takes to kill monsters. If you can one-hit the monsters then yellow aura would be better, but if it requires multiple hits dark aura may be better. Personally I don't think blue aura will have many uses outside of bossing situations, and you won't encounter many of those until 4th job (or maybe 3rd job if you're an aura mule for your group)

Someone else had already mentioned this, but putting one point into Quad at lvl 30 will also be very helpful

As a side note, plagiarism is a serious offense that could get you suspended from school or even kicked out of college. If you've ever taken a writing course the bibliography section of a paper is very important not only for the teacher, but for your own legal matters as well. This is just an online maple build with no copyrights so you two are going to need to work something out between yourselves. Just remember to site your work in the future (assuming that omni is telling the truth)

At 30 you should place 1 quad blow
Edit:
Triple :
Level 20: MP Cost: 20, Damage: 105%, Max Attacks: 3, Max Monsters Hit: 6
Quad :
Level 1: MP Cost: 20, Damage: 91%, Max Attacks: 4, Max Monsters Hit: 6

Its better at level 1 by alot and will do you good.

Also, can you we use extra points in 3rd job to raise booster/drain? Instead of raising reaper?
