I asked this girl to the dance and got a weird answer
So I asked this girl to the dance today but she said she might not go to the dance because she has a modelling job that day. She said if she does end up going to the dance she'll go with me though. Should I just forget about it or should I follow up and ask her in a few days?
Also, if I shouldn't ask her, what should I do if I see her at the dance? Should I assume we're together? (she and I would've met there if she had said yes) Thanks for the advice people

@Narutards: Just tell her to let you know if she does decide to go to the dance. However, she probably does have a modelling job since people don't just make up specific reasons why they can't go.

I agree with this man. If she doesn't know in a few days, find a different girl to go with. If she does indeed have a modeling job that day, she will know in advance.
