Account hacked or my items disappeared?
When I logged into my account, I noticed that my BB Ring I Lv. 17 and 25m was gone from my character. I was also in FM, which is not where I logged out from. This all points to me being hacked, but I have a lot more valuable stuff on my account that could've been taken but wasn't. What's going on here?
Also, I can't change my password because my account's email was deleted. The email is unrecoverable, I tried. Should I just transfer to another account?

@Xeville: Old thread? Hi? Don't forget to make a complex 50+ pw and change it each time Nexon tells u to by popup but do a Disk Cleanup before logging in and Delete Browsing History each time you move from a page on Nexon site. I have not been hacked for 3+ years and this is my proof.
best to restart on another acc and xfer all your stuff over and dont lose your email this time
Meso farmer. They have no time to sell stuff so they just take mesos and Big Bang rings.

Your quote is only for people who have not followed the requirements like "don't give out your information", or "do not open any weird emails". HUNDREDS of people getting hacked each day is NOT NORMAL.

same here, but it likes make you skeptical whether to play maple and rebuild or just quit for good. TOO many people are getting hacked so this is extremly peculiar activity.. Thats why I'm like praying for a rollback which is unlikley to happen
I got this too. Lost 130m mesos, all my Evo III level 10 and 9 rings, and WG's. I don't know if it's NXs fault or if I actually got hacked. I changed my PW nevertheless.

The symptoms Lost evo rings, 0 mesos, all tradeable equips that were easy to sell like 10 att wgs.. All gone, & Rare chairs.. I was a victim of this hack too.. and Yep nexon won't do crap.
Got on this morning and checked my email to relise that the hackers reset my password so they can hacked my account. Went on MS and lost all items that was worth something. (eg, Evo Ring I, 2x Evo Ring II, 4x Evo Ring III all tradable)

LOL decided to login today after a quit and all my mesos were gone , except my chairs...then decided to google "Items and mesos disappeared in maplestory" and it brought me here.
Someone should sue Nexon for such bad mishandling. At least do something when hundreds of people are getting hacked each day -.-
Same thing is happening to me! Merched 100mil yesterday, logged on today 10att wg is gone as long with 100mil, everything else is still there.
SAME! I only lost my gloves, capes, and easy-to-sell items.
He left my chairs and my c-ilbies and other stuff...
But took my mesos...
Probably hackers. Some hackers can be "nice" and leave you with money xD.
Maybe they hacked you and left you with just enough to spare in hopes that you'd keep playing and fund your character again... then they hack you again when you least expect it? Or they're just going through a large amount of accounts that they're just targeting whatever is easiest to sell and hardest to identify...
I lost all my chairs and PSB, but they left my scrolls. strange
happened to me awhile ago too, lost 2B, specs and other stuff, but they didnt take my blue ms dana or red xmas sock.
If you're left in the FM, missing mesos and items, then yes you were hacked.

Same thing happened to me I lost around 700m on mesos + items or so but I still had other valuable things (or at least I think they're kinda valuable) so I'm not sure if I was hacked or there was a bug or something else.
