Best blogging host website?

Hi guys;
I wanted to make a blog about KMS and the big bang, etc, like Spadow and other people have already done.
Although it won't be as great as his, I want to try to make one.
What host should i use to make it?
If somebody could teach me the basics of how to embed images and other stuff, that'd be great.
