I sent this guide to someone earlier. As far as I know, there have been no recent changes to the maps and so this guide should still hold.

Much of this will depend on the funding you have, as well as who you know (such as people who are willing to take you bossing, whether or not they can provide you with Kishin service to increase spawn rate or HS to increase EXP, if they can lend you lower level equips to help you shoot up through levels, etc.) Keep in mind much of this is tentative and it depends on whether or not you can actually do enough damage to train at these spots efficiently.

NOTE: NEVER drop your white zebra ticket pieces from mobs until after 140. You'll need them later. Also, do know that Tot's beginner quests give you a free 1.5x EXP coupon which lasts for 4 hours. You only get one so use it wisely. I would suggest using it either late during 3rd job to get to 4th job, or after 4th job for bossing and grinding purposes. It works wonders. And in almost every case, soloing is the best way to gain EXP though there are certain places where you may want to party if the training areas are too inefficient and you need at least another person to help deal extra damage.

10 - 30: Whether or not you can hit multiple mobs at once, Evil Eyes, Dark Eyes, Cold Eyes, and Surgeon Eyes in Ellina. If you want, you can do Golems but the Eyes give 30+ EXP per mob and they're always closely clustered together. Edelstein mobs on the right of Edelstein are also pretty good. The EXP rate starts at either 24 or 28 and only goes up.

30 - 45: Gravi Stone Gars in Pantheon. These mobs have high HP count and are spread a bit further apart but if you can 1-2 shot these mobs, it's a really good place to train as the EXP is double of what most other mobs can give. Otherwise you can do Gold Beach. Mobs are everywhere, low HP.

45 - 50: Stay at Gold Beach or you can go to Perion's skeleton dogs and their other mobs. They give roughly 250 EXP and if you can find the hidden map in the skeledogs map near the bottom left, they cluster per platform. Start at the top, mob, work your way down, rinse and repeat. At level 50 definitely try Easy Zakum. It might be hard if you don't have a good number of skills leveled up but on 1x EXP you can easily gain 1 level. So have someone HS you before you go in (if you can kill Zakum before the 180 seconds are up on the HS buff) and get some +Att/M.Att potions or buffs.

50 - 70: Copper Drakes. They do take a bit to kill but the spawn is great. Even better with Kishin, HS, or both. Also try Celions? Cilions? The little lion-kitty things at Stairway to Sky I in Oribis.

67 - 80: Stay at Copper Drakes or go to White Fangs in El Nath. I would recommend White Fangs because there are fewer platforms, a good spawn rate, and nobody ever trains there so you don't have to CC too often.

70 - 140: Romeo and Juliet PQ. Stay at the 4th stage and grind with a party. Definitely bring a Kanna or Bishop with you to HS. Otherwise, at level 69 you can go to Sandrats and Scorpions at Sunset Road: Sahel II in Magatia.

100 - 140: Starting at 100, talk to Spiegelette in Monster Park PQ and she'll give you 3 Monster Park Extreme (MPE) tickets every day. Remember those white zebra ticket pieces you had to save? Well for every 100 pieces, you get one MPE ticket. You can perform 5 trades per day (so you'll need a total of 500 ticket pieces, which is pretty hard to come by, but if you have them definitely use them for this purpose and this purpose only). MPE can be solo'd but if you can find a Kanna to come with you, don't pass up the chance. The increased spawn rate is always, always a plus and it's something you'll really want. Also definitely try to solo Normal Zakum and it's really efficient from 100-130 and you'll gain several levels just by defeating the arms. The 3 bodies also give a good amount of EXP.

130 - 165: Dimensional Invasion PQ. Bring a Bishop because this is one of the few places a Kanna's Kishin won't have any effect. Great EXP, especially if you can solo. Otherwise, you'll want a party because you may not be able to finish up on time. You can enter DIPQ up to 10 times per day.

If you have the funding, solo Normal Horntail. Also try Chaos Zakum on your own, if you can. The EXP boosts are better solo but if you can't take it out on your own, bring just one or two other people with you.

As a general guide, anywhere with Star Force mobs around your level are good training areas for solo or for bringing a Kanna with you to Kishin.

MP3 is a good place to train. If you bring a Kanna, make sure to lower the graphics on your Maple client and put the client in windowed mode because with Kishin, the map spawn will cause you to lag out like crazy.

165 - 250: Strong Hold: First or Second Drill Hall. Join in a party if your damage is high enough to be an attacker or if you are a Beast Tamer, Bishop, or Kanna to provide the party with useful buffs. If you solo, make sure you can 1-3 shot the mobs, each of which have 21.5m HP (so hit roughly 8m per attack, to be on the safe side). If neither of these options are available, as they sometimes aren't, resort to the previous options. Soloing at SDH/FDH will not be efficient if you cannot take out the mobs fast enough.

This is what I did to grind my Battle Mage mules for the 130 rings last month. These probably aren't the best spots, but they worked for me. Keep in mind, Battle Mages have a fairly large number of hits, so accuracy wasn't as much of an issue as classes that hit few times, such as Assassins.

1~30 Tutorial/Starting Area
31~40 Gravi Stonegar - Pantheon
41~55 Taurospear - Sleepywood (same map as Jr. Balrog)
56~75 Skeledogs - Perion (great spawn rate inside the castle)
76~90s Sandrats + Dark Sand Dwarves - Nihal Desert (there is nice flat map a few portals away from Magatia filled with both of these)
91~110+ R&J Party Quest

After this, I like to switch between training spots because staying in one map is boring.

100~140 - Monster Park Extreme (good EXP, buff potions)
105+ - Evolution World (alright EXP, mastery books and spell traces for EVO coins)
110~130 - Ludibrium (I like training at Master Death Teddies and Gigantic Spirit Vikings)
140+ - Dimension Invasion
