How much dumber would people be with Google
And I am not just talking about Google, I am talking about any and all search engines. Do you think people rely on them so much so that without them they would be unable to function properly? I think people have become so dependent on them that you would see at least a noticeable decrease in intelligence overall.

Google makes information accessible to a larger amount of people at no cost/low cost (electricity and internet).
This makes the population smarter because they can access virtually any kind of knowledge easily.
Edit : I just read ''without'' Google. Just open an encyclopedia, not that hard.
But you'll feel bad for all the trees that died for your paper encyclopedia.

People would have to ask other people about the "little things" that aren't covered in encyclopedias. Seriously, it's amazing what google has done. Any question about life, no matter how trivial, is [i]predicted[/i] by the search engine before I can finish typing it, because [i]that many people[/i] were curious about the same issue.
This is why people don't talk to each other anymore. They don't have to.
No google? *opens up in encyclopedia/dictionary/whatever I need*
