Cr changes from +6 to +4 = red
Sn changes from +2 to +4 = ox
I don't wanna balance it for you
OMG I've been trying to balance this stupid equation using oxidation numbers. You can just balance it by inspection >.<
oxidation numbers are at the bottom. You can see that Cr goes from +6 to +3 and Sn goes from +2 to +4.
EDIT: Never mind, whoops.

Ah, give me a minute to write this out

i can't thats why im making this thread
@ishimaruchan : yes, but i can't balance after the getting the electrons to equal, are their procedures to make balancing easier?
Are you familiar with the rules for assigning oxidation states/number?
first apply the rule of half reaction
Then apply from reaction to base by balancing it out
Add the necessary hydrogens and electrons to each side
Multiply the top and bottom by a necessary number to equal the same amount of electrons
Rewrite the whole thing and boom.
@Neuro: welp i could show on paper but im not sure how to show steps on a pc
that doesn't help, i need to see the steps
