What happened at the end of halo 3?
Alright so i've seen the ending bit of halo: 3 but i really dont understand what's happening there.
i also havent really seen any campaign of the other games, so could someone summarize them for me?
Just wondering because of the halo 4 game

It was announced at E3.
uhm something about the halo trying to wipe out the infection, but like it went down like this
M CHIEF: I WANT THEM ALL DEAD NOWWWWW
Flamboyant Robot: No, look. this thing needs more time
M Chief: the flood is coming, & it's flipping gross as hell. i want it dead now!
Flamboyant Robot(FR): No, zip you i'm killin the black dude first now cause of you *zap*
M Chief: NOOOOO D: -hits robot-
FR: oh no it's super effective D: -dead-
& i guess the planet that they're on is going to like self destruct so you basically drive the hell out of there into some drop ship
& in the drop ship M chief does something in the rear while the arbiter is in the front. & something splits the drop ship in 2
& since master chief is in the rear & really can't do anythign but drift in space, he goes to sleep as cortana waits for like a year until Halo 4
