For the delay between attacks you can add another attack such as steal

Bstep+steal or Bstep+phase dash. I usually just Bstep+MC. The skills fit perfectly in between bsteps, so if you just spam bstep, you're not doing as much damage as compared to someone who is using combos.

DS+nate for bossing, hold down the macro and it will cancel the final hit.

After RED, it would be Bstep+Savage blow, since SB will be able to mob. Meso explosion too if possible.

When I was playing a shad I always used to B-step + MC.
Some people do B-step + Steal, but I didn't like that combo.
