It happens to all of us. And it really depends on how fast the people update there mod. I know some mods that are done pretty quick, but others take a while.

Force update it, nope the mods will be outdated (and during the force update it will get rid of all your mods in the jar). You`ll have to wait for the modmakers to update the mods to 1.8
